The Self Assessment report gives you the figures required to complete your Self Assessment form. These figures are created by mapping your sales and outgoing Types to the boxes on the Self Assessment form.
You can set where to classify individual sales, outgoing and bank transaction types on the self assessment report. Do this by going to:
- Sales > Sales Types > Select a Sales Type > Change the self-assessment drop down > Update.
- Purchases > Outgoing Types > Select a Outgoing Type > Change the self-assessment drop down > Update.
- Bank > Bank Transaction Types > Select a Transaction Type > Change the self-assessment drop down > Update.
Running the Report
Run the report by going to Tools & Reports > General Reports > Self Assessment. Using the start/end date selectors, choose a date range for the report and click Rerun Report. Your self-assessment will then be generated box-by-box and display towards the bottom of the page, along with the corresponding value. The figures can be downloaded in a CSV format for some of the boxes by clicking on the Download button next to the box value. Similarly, you can print this report by clicking the Print button.
